Det styrker både fællesskabet, den mentale og den fysiske sundhed. *Tekst: Johnny Gudmand. Foto: Privat* Beboerne i Hjertingparken i Esbjerg er heldige. De har nemlig en bestyrelse, der insisterer på at skabe gode muligheder for, at beboerne kan være en del af et fællesskab. For få år siden havde afdelingen ingen afdelingsbestyrelse, men det har den nu, og det er en ambitiøs én af slagsen. Derfor sagde afdelingen også ja til at være med i et projekt med sundhedscaféer i samarbejde med Aktive fællesskaber i DAB-Lejerbo. Og de gode erfaringer førte til, at bestyrelsen ansøgte Alment Støtteudvalg om midler til at fortsætte et initiativ med fokus på både mental og fysisk sundhed: stolegymnastik med efterfølgende kaffe og sang. Ansøgningen blev positivt modtaget, og afdelingen fik 5.000 kroner i støtte til diverse redskaber. #### Skal smide deltagere ud Det var afdelingsformand Tove Jepsen, der sendte ansøgningen af sted i 2025. ”Jeg søgte til netop det, fordi 60-70 procent af beboerne er pensionister, og det har været svært at få folk til at deltage i aktiviteter – vi har virkelig kæmpet. Under projektet med Aktive fællesskaber var sundhed i fokus, og vi havde et udmærket forløb på fire uger, og det fik mine tanker i gang om at starte noget stolegymnastik og sang,” forklarer Tove Jepsen. Stolegymnastikken har nu været afholdt seks gange. Beboerne mødes hver anden uge fra 10-12. ”Vi har kombineret gymnastikken med et ønske fra andre beboere om at synge sammen. Så efter en times stolegymnastik drikker vi kaffe, hygger og synger tre-fire sange sammen. Klokken 12 skal jeg kæmpe for at smide deltagerne ud, så det er blevet godt modtaget. Vi er seks til otte deltagere hver gang, og det er virkelig hyggeligt.” Det store, kontinuerlige fokus på fællesskab i afdelingen har ført til, at både sommerfest og beboermøde har fået stor opbakning – noget man ellers ikke har været vant til. #### Vi skal være sunde At det netop er sundhed og fællesskab, der er omdrejningspunktet i Hjertingparken, er ikke tilfældigt. ”Vi skal være sunde fysisk og mentalt i afdelingen. Når vi for eksempel mødes til stolegymnastik og sang, så hygger vi og snakker vældigt meget om det, vi har på sinde. Jeg tror på, at det er vigtigt at have et positivt mindset, også selvom vi har ting at kæmpe med. Der er også mange enlige i afdelingen, og jeg tror på, at et par timer i godt selskab kan være med til at løfte ens dag,” fortæller formanden. #### Mere på vej Man skal smede, mens jernet er varmt, og den positive tilbagemelding på ansøgningen i 2025 har kastet en ny ansøgning i 2026 af sig. ”Vi har søgt og fået tilsagn på 10.000 kroner til indkøb af fitness-udstyr. Det glæder vi os til at komme i gang med, og vores ejendomsmester står for indkøb. At vi kan søge tilskud i udvalget gør, at vi kan få ting til at ske. Vi har jo et begrænset beløb til aktiviteter i løbet af et år, og vi skal bruge dem, så de kommer flest muligt til gavn. Motionsrummet bruger rigtig mange, og primært de yngre beboere kommer og træner, så det gør, at der er noget attraktivt også for dem”. ## Hvad er Alment Støtteudvalg?
