## **Gæster fra Nordamerika besøgte Henriksgården**
#### Henriksgården i Valby er snart igennem en omfattende helhedsplan. I juni kom en nordamerikansk delegation forbi for at høre om projektet.

Det er ikke så tit, at en almen boligafdeling i DAB-Lejerbo får besøg fra Nordamerika. Men onsdag den 17. juni mødte en delegation af arkitekter og ingeniører op i Henriksgården i Valby.

Her fik de et indblik i helhedsplanen i boligafdelingen, en renovering med interessante energiperspektiver – blandt andet solceller på hele taget, der forventes at kunne producere 1.000.000 kWh om året. Der er også sket en forbedring af isoleringen, som nedsætter energiforbruget til opvarmning betragteligt, og der er allerede nu opnået en varmebesparelse på 42 procent i forhold til før renoveringen.

Birgitte Kortegaard, formand for Hovedstadens alm. Boligselskab, som Henriksgården er en del af, var en af oplægsholderne. Hun fortalte om de mange overvejelser i så stort et projekt og om de udfordringer, en renovering støder på undervejs.

Formanden er arkitekt og arbejder selv med bygningsfornyelse i Københavns Kommune, og hun har nemt ved at se, hvorfor den almene sektor i Danmark, og Henriksgården, er interessant for en nordamerikansk delegation.

”Vi har i Danmark en almen boligsektor, som er på forkant med energirenovering og det at få vores bygninger også fra 60’erne og 70’erne til at fremstå nutidige. Vi løser samtidig en væsentlig opgave med at sikre betalbare hjem til alle, og rigtig mange i udlandet misunder os vores model. I Henriksgårdens tilfælde er det en sag til omkring 900 millioner, så det er også en seriøs investering i fremtidens boligmasse”, fortæller Birgitte Kortegaard.
#### Tidens tegn

Når det kommer til renoveringsmodne bygninger, kan der opstå et spørgsmål om, hvorvidt det er nemmere at rive ned og bygge nyt eller at bevare og bygge på.

”Nogle ville sige, at det ville være nemmere at starte forfra. Men tidens tegn er jo bevar eller forklar, så selvom det er mere besværligt her og nu , så skal vi bygge videre på det, vi har. Set i et internationalt perspektiv er det interessant, at vi har den her sektor, som rummer helt almindelige mennesker, der går foran og gør noget for eftertiden. Tanken med at bruge det, vi har, og forbedre det, gør derfor Henriksgården og andre renoveringer interessante uden for landets grænser,” siger formanden.
                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                        #### Tålmodighed

Birgitte Kortegaard er som formand for byggeudvalget ikke i tvivl om, hvad så store projekter kræver af beboerne og ikke mindst beboerdemokratisk, især fordi de ofte også strækker sig over mange år. I Henrikgårdens startede det i 2014, arbejderne begyndte i 2021, og bygningerne bliver efter planen afleveret i slutningen af 2026.

”Det kræver tålmodighed, og så kræver det, at du tror på det. Vi har dyb respekt for beboerinddragelsen, for uden den ville vi stå med processer og projekter, som beboerne ikke kan se sig selv i på samme måde, som når de har været en del af processen. Værdien af anstrengelserne kommer jo først rigtigt, når renoveringen er overstået.”
